Solange was born in France and moved to Northland, New Zealand, where she and Brian have raised a family.
Travelling with a small group of New Zealanders in France, allows Solange to connect 2 worlds that are both dear to her.

Solange Bely, a long-time resident of New Zealand, grew up picking grapes at her grandmother's vineyard each year in St Emilion. Solange's intimate knowledge of the culture, her passion for exploring the ancient pathways and her enthusiasm for sharing her experience, make her the perfect guide to the heart of the region and its people.
Solange has been successfully leading tours since 1998. She lives in the very beautiful area of Matapouri Bay, north of Whangarei, on a farm amongst bush-clad hills with her husband and three children. The creation of Troubadour Travel answered a strong desire to connect New Zealand and France, two worlds that are both dear to her. Her family and friends in France have been a very supportive team in this creation and she greatly enjoys this time where her friends from both countries can meet.
